Sharing Our Joy

No infringement of copyright intended

Treasures In the Garden

How about adding some joy to life, embracing the

little things we sometimes forget to find enjoyment in.....

Make a life that sizzles and pops and makes us laugh

out loud. We don't want to get to the end, or even to

tomorrow, and realise that our life is a collection of

meetings, washing clothes, errands, receipts, dirty dishes,

and making beds.

We need to savour everything we eat, sing out loud in the car

with the windows down, wear colourful shoes, stay up all night

laughing, and paint the wall the exact same colour as the sky on

nice clear day.

Sleep on nice clean sheets,

Throw parties and share our joy,

Read books that are so good they make us sad when they end.

Make everyday day, such that it makes God belly laugh,

Glad that He gave life to us and we love

the wondrous gift He has given us, SO much.

My word for today is "JOY!"

I choose to live each with a heart filled with joy and love.

A Smile Doesn't Always Tell the Whole story....

Treasures In The Garden

Don't be fooled by that happy smile.

The smile on my face does not mean my life is perfect.

It means that I appreciate what I have been blessed with.

I choose to be happy.

We can appreciate life even if it's

not perfect.  Happiness is

not fulfillment of what

we wish for, but an

an appreciation of what we have.

Once we start appreciating our life,

that is when we realise

how much we truly have to be thankful for.

My word for today is "APPRECIATION!"

I choose to live each day with love and joy in my heart.

"If the Cap Doesn't fit"

This week's fun quip from the church newsletter:

I signed up to the gym this week.

Upon enquiring about a class that

was being offered. I was instructed

that I should wear loose fitting clothes.

If I had loose fitting clothing I wouldn't

have signed up for a class in the first

place would I ?

Truer words have not been spoken.
